Executive Bios
Greg Rable
Chairman & CEO
Greg Rable brings 20 years of strategic development, management and technology experience to FactorTrust, along with extensive experience in electronic payment, online commerce and communications. His vision for FactorTrust was to build the leading specialized credit reference agency and analytics business leveraging alternative data to serve one of the largest and fastest growing consumer segments in the world, the under-banked.
Prior to founding FactorTrust, Greg served as Senior Vice President of Global Services at Premiere Global Services Inc., a global outsource provider of communications technology. There he successfully built and led the Implementation, Project Management, Custom Programming, Managed Services, Sales Engineering and Professional Services groups globally.
Before Premiere, Greg served as CEO of Empagio, a company providing Employee Relationship Management (ERM) software and services to Fortune 500 companies. Prior to Empagio, he was the co-founder and CEO of Derivion, an Atlanta-based market leader in Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP), which was acquired by Metavante Corporation in 2001. Greg has also held numerous consulting, business development and management positions with companies such as i2 Technologies, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), and Georgia-Pacific Corporation.
Greg was named one of three Southeastern Finalists for Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2000.
Before entering the corporate arena, Greg served in the U.S. Army in the 10th Mountain Division specializing in logistics and communications. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from the State University of New York, and has pursued additional studies at Oxford University, England.
Chris Amato
CFO & COO
Chris Amato is FactorTrust’s CFO & COO and a member of the Board of Directors. He has more than 15 years of financial management experience with technology companies ranging from start-up to Fortune 1000.
Chris was most recently business unit CFO for the Data Communications business of Premiere Global Services (NYSE: PGI), a $500 million global provider of communication technologies that simplify critical business processes. Prior to that, he was CFO and Corporate Secretary for Netifice Communications, a venture-backed provider of managed VPN services.
Prior to joining Netifice, Chris held several financial management roles, including Controller and CFO, with Cypress Communications, a venture-backed provider of voice, data and video services to small and medium-sized businesses. Chris also held various financial management, auditing and consulting roles with Scientific-Atlanta, Price Waterhouse and Ernst & Young.
Chris earned an MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, a BS in Finance from Florida State University and a CPA certificate in Georgia.
John Gordon
Vice President, Sales and Business Development – North America
John Gordon serves as the Vice President of Sales and Business Development for FactorTrust. John is responsible for FactorTrust’s direct and channel sales efforts. John brings over 15 years direct sales and sales management experience to FactorTrust. Prior to joining FactorTrust, John managed the direct sales team for the eCommerce Services division of Online Resources (NASDAQ: ORCC), a provider of phone and web based financial technology services. Additionally, John has managed regional and national sales teams for the Data Communications division of Premiere Global Services (NYSE: PGI) a $500 million provider of communication technologies.
John holds a BA in History from the University of Georgia
Alastair Boothroyd
Head of Sales and Business Development – UK
Alastair Boothroyd brings over 15 years of direct sales, marketing and management experience to LendProtect UK Ltd., where he will head up the systematic growth of the company’s UK business. Prior to joining LendProtect UK Ltd., Alastair spent nearly 10 years as Head of Business Development for Planmaster Systems Ltd., a global provider of financial reporting software to many of the FTSE 500 organisations, specifically focusing on statutory reporting, management accounts, and budgeting and strategic forecasting. He was responsible for sales and marketing for the European operations. Having built many relationships at a senior level within the UK, his skill set and tenacity can only bring strength to our growing business and enable him to deliver our value-added solutions.
Dwight Person
Vice President, Customer Operations
Dwight Person has more than 40 years of information technology development and customer care experience within the banking and technology industries. Prior to FactorTrust he served as Director of Global Services at Premiere Global Services Inc. Before Premiere he served in various management positions for Predictive Consulting, RPM Consulting, Digital Equipment Corporation, Farm Credit Banks, and Univac.
Dwight served four years in Southeast Asia as a member of the US Naval Intelligence organization, before attending undergraduate and graduate school at the University of Utah, receiving his degrees in Business Administration and Accounting. Dwight holds a PMI certification, along with numerous management and customer care certifications.
David Spych
Vice President, Analytics
Dave has over 15 years experience in building predictive models and providing advanced statistical solutions that enable organizations to leverage their data to maximize value.
Prior to joining FactorTrust, Dave served as Vice President of Consumer Credit Risk of SunTrust Banks Inc. (NYSE: STI), where he optimized lending strategies for both Auto and Home Equity Lending. Prior to SunTrust, Dave served as a Consultant at a successful start-up and as a Lead Analyst of Equifax Inc. (NYSE: EFX), where he provided actionable statistical solutions for various Risk and Marketing Fortune 500 companies. Dave’s career has been marked by his ability to understand the big picture and how analytics can be applied to meet corporate objectives.
Dave holds a Master’s of Statistics from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
